I made this Elf Girl for YanSculpts “Elf Challenge” and modeled her after Belle Delphine. It’s why I decided to do her silly face at the end.
For the fans!

My first model in the new Blender 2.8 released earlier this week. I wanted to see if my skills with Futaba were a fluke, but it looks like I finally understand the process of modeling the face. Look forward to timelapses and possible tutorials in the future!

This was an animated short of General Aaon‘s avatar originally created by Jennifer D’aww. I learned a lot doing this piece, including how to “bake sounds into f-curves” so that the dance floor reacts to the music and creating my own shader to manipulate the colors depending on the music and beat.
I also learned a lot about rigging and weight painting as well as why the hips often use a diagonal geometry rather than a square one. There is just a lot to learn and make mistakes with in 3D, but I’m glad I’m doing it now and still having fun and getting great results that people can laugh at!
Onward and upwards!
This is a 3D render of Futaba Sakura from Persona 5, Persona 5 Royal. It was created in Blender 2.8 RC2.
This is fanart made in Blender 3D 2.8 beta for the upcoming Sci-Fi MMO game, “Em-8er: Massive Planetary Wargame” being made by the former lead designer of World of Warcraft, Mark Kern. I was just having fun making a Sci-Fi style character. It’s modeled after the art by CuteSexyRobutts.
A 3D model of Raphtalia from “The Rising of the Shield Hero”. It was used in Blender 3D using box modeling techniques and rendered in EEVEE.

A practice animation using the Gondola meme, since it is a simplified leg IK rig. It turned out… Ok. But I had fun setting it to music. You can hear it with the embedded tweets below.
